The elegance in the 4th pic is unbelievable.

cwegescheide 11/12/2006 06:38 PM

ALL the pics are UNBELIEVABLE!!! You know it just occured to me that the majority of tanks that we see on RC are mostly sticks!!! I can't wait to have a nice large mature reef. Man that looks incredible. Thanks for the outsanding pictures.

Out of control - some of the best I have ever seen anywhere!

FSOL 11/12/2006 06:54 PM

Ferrari's, good wine and pasta, Italian women, authentic leather jackets, gelato, and now beautiful fishtanks.

Tell me about it.

Makes me wonder if any of these tanks are using the Steroid method talked about a couple yrs ago, heavy feeding using Oyster Blood proteins and so on.

Most of them do have more than enough lighting. I dont have any additional info on the first one, but the rest it shows they have intense light.

amazing

FSOL 11/12/2006 07:45 PM

How do you manage to get flow to the corals that are way in the back or have taller corals all around them? Anybody know how old these tanks are?

trueblackpercula 11/12/2006 07:47 PM

I think they are a few weeks old LMAO

FSOL 11/12/2006 07:47 PM

Oh, and I'd like to see all you BB folks make some comments about this DSB tank. Come on, don't hide.

Brewen 11/12/2006 07:49 PM

Speechless love the overflowing look.

So what you got to say about a tank like these that are DSB's :)

trueblackpercula 11/12/2006 08:39 PM

Just Amazing..................what else can you say?

FSOL 11/12/2006 08:41 PM

No, what I'm trying to get to here, is that a lot of BB people say that when you have such high amounts of SPS in the tank, you need so much flow that you have to get rid of the sandbed. Plus they say the sandbed traps so much dirt. This guy must be doing something right.

slojmn 11/12/2006 08:51 PM

Those tanks are gorgeous. I love the white, furry polyped acro in the 9th and 10th shots in the first set of pictures. Very exotic looking.

FSOL, Current BB here and DSB for my first tank, both successful...many different ways to get beautiful corals to grow. I always say, to each his own...patience, good husbandry habits and stability will unltimately lead to success whether DSB, SSB, or BB. There are many beautiful tanks in each category. I do like the filled in mature look. I currently have sticks :D but I plan on having mature filled in sticks inanother year or so.

I think most experienced reefkeepers will tell you that there is more than one way to skin a cat. The key is skinning it the way that works best for you;)

Let's not turn this into one of "those" threads....... OK:D

I am really enjoying invincible sharing these tanks with us again and I would hate for it to get ruined.

Chris
