Egg ID - fish or snails

1 Attachment(s)
Suddenly, I've got what I'm pretty sure is eggs on my aquarium walls. The only fish that could have possibly caused the are clownfish or Bangai Cardinalfish, both of which have had eggs before, but never laid them on the class. Incidentally, I just put in over 100 snails of various types a week or so ago, so I'm guessing it's something related to the snails. Whatever it is, it survived hanging on the glass for 24 hours (the fish did not eat them) and there's even more this morning. Any ideas?

snail eggs.

clowns have clusters not strings. and the clowns guard their eggs.

Banggai are live release. The male holds the eggs in his mouths until they hatch plus some extra time, then releases.

I've had these snail eggs before but can't remember which species laid them. They got eaten before they hatched in my tank.

Think I remember them being cerith.
