Very good information! Thanks for posting them.
What needs to be pointed out though reef ecosystems work very differently. With sharks making up 50% to 80% of the fish biomass the trophic pyramid is inverted. And with corals and their holobiont animals are playing the role of autotrophs and are competing with algae for nutrients.

I think however that the base of the pyramid is still algal biomass, due to the 10% nature of nutrient absorption from level to level. There is much more algal biomass on a reef than there is coral+symbionts. Remember you also need to factor in phytoplankton.
