My tank has been set up for over a year. Only thing added in the last 6+ months are clean up crew crabs and a handful of turbos, a chalice and a cup coral. About a week after adding the turbos last month I saw this little fellow. Today he is out again and was able to get a few pics but nobody can tell me what it is or if it is good or needs to come out. Help!!!!

It looks like a scutus limpet. Which are good.

I have quite a bit of coral and fish along with a bit of different shrimps (fire, skunk, peppermint and pistol) i am very picky about what goes in and what stays in as everybody and everything gets along quite well. I have a 210 gal so there is definitely room for him ONLY if he is safe for all that is already in there. Is black rare? Everything I seem to look up for slugs nothing is black except a stomatella but it doesn't have a shell that I see. He can lay almost flat and is fast compared to the snails and crabs I have lol.

It may be a Scutus, and it may be a Dendrodoris nudibranch, can't see enough detail from the pics. Either one should be okay in your tank.

Maybe a polyclad flatworm? Do your snails mysteriously die?
