Size matters?

Hi yall! I a few months ago i had a tank move and simultaneous crash that decimated my corals (fish are fine though). Things are now two months later beginning to resolve. Anyway my zoas have reopened and it doesn't seem like i lost any polyps however they are now SUPER TINY, Like miniaturized versions of themselves. They seem to be growing again but i cannot get the polyp size to increase (e.g. the base of the coral is spreading but the diameter of each polyp is not).

Has anyone had similar experience/know how to coax out large polyps?

Give them time, I had the same thing happen to a colony that I have. Got a little aggressive pulling the GHA off that was overgrowing it and beat up the polyps a bit. A few are very small now, but appear to be getting bigger. Just like new baby polyps that start off small, they should get bigger.
