Euphillia seeking more light?
Hello all!
I have a 15+ bi-color frogspawn colony that I am wondering if is seeking more light. Polyps are all expanded. What do you think? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d0fe74359.heic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
They look fine to me, but if you can increase the lighting with ease you might want to bump it up a little for the next few days or so and see how they respond.

Yes! Mine did the same thing I increased the intensity on my light after a day or so they fanned back out.

To me it looks like they're reaching for more light. Mine were what I would consider perfectly expanded...then I beefed up my lighting, and now they're only expanding about 1/2 what they used to. I'm planning on moving them down to the sand now.
Increase light (slowly over a week or two...if you can)...and see how they react. Once they are expanded to the point where each head's polyps blend in well with one another...I'd say you're good to go then. |
Thanks for the replies! I have the AI prime HDs currently on acclimation mode. It was at 40% power and now I moved it to 50%. I’ll let it sit this week and report back!

Been at 50% since this was last updated. No change but the polyps are HUGE! Plus, have you ever seen a frogspawn eat a bristleworm?! Haha now you have:
