Walt Disney Acro
I know there are a few reefers who have this bad boy, was wondering what the growth rate is like? Also, what have you found to be the best placement for it?
My frag is coming in today and want to make sure I have the correct real estate for it! |
It does best in my tank. Send the frag my way.

I hope you sensed my joke. Anyway, congrats and I really hope it does well for you. Which vendor did you buy it from? It's a nice piece for sure!!! Super awesome colors. Post a pic of yours Sent using your IP address |
Oh, 100% got it haha. I really did actually say that to people who grabbed a frag.
I got it from All Delight. Excited to see what it looks like in the tank. I'll try and grab a pic tonight after work. |

I'd be excited and handle it with golden gloves!!! Lol $350+? Sent using your IP address |
Seriously! I'm happy I finally have a legitimate stand out piece.
And that's about the price, but that's the reason there's a benefit to having gift cards and credit card rewards. They help bring prices down very quickly. |
Waiting on that pic!

I have had it for a year. It's a good grower. I will haven't got the crazy colors yet. It needs to be blasted with blue light.
Best picture and is a couple months old. My newborn doesn't allow much free time <a href="http://s837.photobucket.com/user/PfeifferBrandon/media/light%20room/LrMobile2605-2016-1242643981996049178_zpsz8u2wwd7.jpeg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i837.photobucket.com/albums/zz298/PfeifferBrandon/light%20room/LrMobile2605-2016-1242643981996049178_zpsz8u2wwd7.jpeg" border="0" alt=" photo LrMobile2605-2016-1242643981996049178_zpsz8u2wwd7.jpeg"/></a> |

Well, long night. I was able to take some pics and of course, photo bucket is now doing maintenance...my luck. Not that it matters as my white balance editing ability is horrible (if someone knows how to do this well, PM me! I'm new to the whole RAW photography and white balance thing.)
I will post some of the pictures tomorrow, but I will say right now: in 17k lighting, this beauty looks exactly as advertised. It's just a frag so all I'm seeing is purple with the fluorescent green polyps, but I can't wait to see the pink and lime green hues on the body. Luckily it's been sitting for a couple weeks as well, so it's already begun to encrust. Will be glueing into a permanent home later this week! Oh and when I put the light to 20k.....WOW |

But still, awesome looking piece! |
The polyps are more brighter but in the photo appears more darker... I'll try to take another photo. Thank you!

Most of the frags I have seen do not have any pink/red or very little. Either most of the frags are fakes or people are really having a hard time holding on too the color.. |

Since my photo shopping abilities are completely lacking...here's a picture of my frag from the person I bought it. And then below, a picture I edited a bit (this looks funky in the background, but this is EXACTLY what the colors look like in person under 17k lighting. Can't wait to see the polyps extended in 20k http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...93DEEA09D5.jpg |
Is this the hottest SPS lately or are their others that people covet more? I have been out of the game for a while and researching a new tank. I heart SPS.

Did you buy it as Walt Disney acro from a reputable person? This is your answer. I would guess no because of your location. |

This is why my Walt Disney will be next to this bad boy: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...bd47321ed7.jpg Can never go wrong with an OG  |

Seems taking pictures of corals have not changed much by the sellers. The photos barely look real. Wish I could see them in some "normal lighting conditions that one might imagine would be outdoor daylight". |
Classics will always be classics.
Nowadays, someone gets a nice wild piece in, keeps the colors and bam. Next hottest thing Sent using your IP address |
I remember my first rainbow tenius
