But everyone else will be fragging their corals,
just like all past meetings...

Dr. Klier would like people to bring Microscopes, and digital photography equipment if they can...

I will be attending the meeting.

Corals are under either (2) 400w MH in 20kk or (2) 250w HQI in 14.5kk

and then making fresh cut ones, if there is a demand.

I'm intrested in trades, mainly nice LPS(acanthastrea, blastos ect), colorful softies(shrooms, zoanthds ect) but I really want some nice corcea or maxima clams! I'm also looking for green polyped Toadstool leather.

I am looking for a rose bubble tip anemone. Pm me if you have one or a clone and will be at the meet.

I am more interested in trading than $. I am listing $ value as a rough reference point. I am interested primarily in sps, lps and photosynthetic gorgonians. Also really would like a. efflo if anyone has this. Looking forward to meeting you and kudos to Dr. Klier for hosting.

I have available:

Maroon acro (sp?, pic in my gallery of main colony); 1" - 25$

orange cap 1" diameter - $10 ; 2" diameter - $20

pink birdsnest 1" - $10

zoo's (green center and fringe) 7-10 polyps - $10

capnella (aka kenya tree) up to 3" - $10

The zoos and capnella are attached to coral rubble. The others will be unmounted, fresh fragged on the day of the meeting.

Also some assorted microfauna (the availability frankly depends on how many I can round up, but it's generally no problem get the snails):

1/4-1/2" chitons (white, sp?? - reproduce readily, algae eaters, I cannot guarantee 100% reef safe but have not seen any damage and I have at least a few dozen) - 2 for $5

up to 1/4" snails (collonista spp? - reproduce readily, reef safe, algae eaters, nocturnal) - 5 for $5

I have a 1" Frag of green slimmer, Two frags of brown buttons, and one small frag of green eye buttons. Trade or make offer

I have several soft coral frags and a few coralimorphs for sale or trade. I also have some equipment I'm not using that's available for sale or trade as well.

I'm looking for PFO MH reflectors/ sockets, SPS frags and MJ 1200's or cash is fine.

CORALS:

Red Sea Xenia (?) $15 a frag

Green Sinularius $10 a frag (mine has taken a sort of mountain dew shade and a Dendronephthya like growth pattern that I think is pretty cool)

EQUIPMENT:

I have a 400 Watt MH set up with a 20K bulb (bulb is a little old but looks like it still has a good spectrum to me) $75.

MAG 24 The impellor is missing two teeth, but it still pushes a lot of water $75. I also have a screen attachment for the pump, which goes with the pump.

Americle Overflow $30 I secured the 'down pipe' to the bottom of the overflow because the O-rings are notorious for leaking. It now has a 1" PVC pipe coming of the bottom.

HOB filters. One is a duel design with carbon containers and Bio Wheels $20. The other is an Emperor 600 (?), it's missing the bio wheel and carbon trays $15. Could be used as a HOB fuge or add the missing parts for a filter. If you want to use it as a fuge I'll Weld on a piece of acrylic to increase its volume.

Strip Lights 2 duel 15 Watt NO light strips, $15 each.

1/2" check valve $5 (PVC has been secured to it, flexible hosing fits well with the pipe)

I have a 400W MH retro-fit lighting setup I would like to sell. This includes: a 400W magnetic ballast (cap & coil), mogul socket, reflector, and a BRAND NEW 10K bulb (never fired).

This light setup could be wired into a canopy or pendant, etc. Works great, just too much light for my system. Everything for $95.

i am coming, just got word bmac is coming also, can anyone help me with getting some hetro zenias?

Quart-Bag of Razor Serrata & Chaetomorpha macroalgae

Aquabrood Chamber (this is a unique and hard to find item, for anyone who has a bird or raises exotic birds; one chamber is filled with water which is heated by a heater; a sick animal or even hatchlings are placed in the other "dry" chamber)

When I come if there is something that I see that I may want to get from someone. Do I have to let them know so they bring it or is everyone bringing what they post.

its very helpful this way we can plan on what to bring and not take any risks of killing our corals do to stress and just being prepared is the best bet, so communication is a must in this hobby...i wouldnt worry too much though we are all here to help, so mostly the majority of the time we try and keep each other happy....its good for buisness...lol...but mostl likely there will be extras flaoting around up for grabs if you wanna go that route, me personally i want the other person that i am coming to get whatever it they have this way they can pay extra care to whatever it is...see my point
