Something beside my grumpy mushroom
I have a single stone covered in mushrooms that haven't really done much of anything since we got through a pretty heavy bacterial bloom a little while ago.
Since then, I noticed something red growing(?) next to one of them. Any idea what it could be and if it's safe to have around? Or could that be why it's not opening? Thanks! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...036983bd2c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Looks like a Foram of some sort, probably not the woes of your mushroom.

Other possibility is a frag of leather, which could do it, but before that---what's your alk? 8.3 or thereabouts? Low alkalinity can do it. Likewise are you running carbon? Softies spit at each other if there are other corals.
