I recently took down a frag tank for a buddy that was moving and i have this pink coral now that i can not id any help. It about the size of a nickle.

Thank for your input i have had it about a week now and it has only got a little bigger. the picture is not very good it looks a little more pink with clear-ish center. The tank it came out of was neglected and had allot of algae covering corals. but my tangs have taken care of what was left and things are happier. I have this coral on the sandbed 30in deep as i was not sure of its requirements. I guess ill wait and see Thanks

Just curious if its bleached why does the new head look the same. I have now had it on the bottom 30in on the sand and it seems happy and has feeders coming out. But i have had it 6 weeks now and it still looks the same.

The old one didnt have enough zoos to share

It looks an awful lot like my Yuma mushroom. However, it's skeleton definitely looks like a blasto. It'll take quite a few months of diligent care, but it should colour back up.
