These guys have horrible service!
So I tried to buy a skimmer from Marine Depot last week, but had a sizing question first. Online chat never worked, I called and gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes, and it took them 3 DAYS to return an email (long after the sale was over). And guess what, they won't honor the price on what I was trying to buy even though I inquired about purchasing it well within the sale period.
Night and day different from all my experiences with BRS. I won't try again. |
Yeah timing and delays can be brutal during the Black Friday sale, also I would never ship anything fragile during the holidays, 6 for 6 T-5 bulbs broken.
Unless it was a lose leader sale I am sure you should be able to get the price again. I only saw a few huge discounts and my hand was trembling wanting to buy another skimmer, yeah I got to many. |
Brs isn’t great at returning emails as well my friend.

You don't go to Walmart on Black Friday and expect to get help picking out a heavily discounted TV. Everyone is overwhelmed. You do your research first and then pull the trigger when you see the item at the price you want. I've dealt with Marine Depot many times and they are always responsive. As far as the Price, if its MAP, they can not honor it after the manufacturers timetable expires.

Been dealing with them for 10+ years....never an issue whenever I call or email I think you had an isolated incident and poor timing if indeed you were doing this on black friday |
