Chemiclean and Starfish
I'm considering trying a Chemiclean treatment for stubborn cyanobacteria in my tank. I know it's important to address the causes (dead spots, build-up of nutrients, etc.) and I am working on these as well. If I do decide to use Chemiclean, what about the food source for my tile starfish? If the treatment kills all the bacteria in the tank, would it also destroy whatever the starfish has been eating? I don't actively feed it, but it has done well foraging for itself for over six months.
