I kind of like the Tunze, since it has strong plastic blades (zero risk to scratch pads. Low risk of gravel/grit on a pad), high pressure only at ends.
Comes witha steel blade attachment for strong scraping the odd time.

There are no chemicals it's foam. I and many others have been using them for seemingly ever. They work great.
