The oils will have a temporary impact on the skimmer. The result is that the skimmer foam goes flat for a couple hours. Sometimes less, sometimes more but it’s just temporary and the foam will build back up in short order. How long the impact lasts just depends on the amount of food or oils in the food vs the total water volume. Either way, it’s really a non issue.
