No anemone and he gets along fine with everyone. Dietary deficiency makes sense. Closest place that sells LRS or Rods is an hour away. I have selcon and vita-chem. I'll go to the grocery store and pick up some fresh shrimp, scallops, squid and whatever else they have and DIY until I can get to the not so LFS.

LRS lists most of the ingredients they use here:

So, no reason why you can't just make your own high quality seafood meal for fish.
