That looks like lymphocysts! It's viral it's generally not dangerous. It's is the herpes lol of fish. Post a pic tomorrow try to get a close up and under white light. Lymphocyst look like cauliflower in texture they generally stay on the fish for 10 or more days before falling off and the fish will always have it. It will be brought on generally by stress and it is contagious however that doesn't mean all your fish will contract it.
