How is the flow in the tank?

######2 mp40qd and 2 mp10qd. Started with higher flow now dropped it..to fairly low.
Still good to moderate though..

If you are doing water changes what salt?
###### Tmpr I do a change about every three to four weeks.. and dose Tm A ionic trace elements and bacto balance.

Your Alk may be higher because of the salt.

#####Salt dkh is around 7 when I tested it... my tank runs at 10dkh

You also could add a couple of pieces of live rock to help seed your tank. The only thing I can see from your tests is to change your DI resin.

#####I’ve changed di resin but I’m wondering would chlorines from tap water etc cause a problem..

Also check for stray voltage

####How do I test that.....

######Yes I’ve got about 13 at the moment

How much live rock is in the tank?

####Circa 30 to 40 litres

Fish produce a fair amount of ammonia, so they're the gating issue for removing live rock. You probably can remove the sand at any time, if there's a reasonable amount of live rock for the fish load

##### I run siporax in the sump as a biological media, if I was to remove it would this support the fish stock?

.

Gents please see the responses marked in the quote box marked with ######
