Saturday morning I installed the new return plumbing up to the union before it makes a 90 to the top of the tank. I also did some cord management which came out a lot better than what it was previously.
I also cleaned the inside and outside of the new tank in preparation for the install in the afternoon, and removed a bunch of the junk from the garage trying to make more room.
