I have a gyre and a knockoff jeaboe crossflow (or whatever its called). My tank is 60". Works great. I'd recommend it. My favorite setting is the forward, backward. With one on each side of the tank, the flow pattern is always changing. They do not get clogged. IMO 2 is a must. I've maintenance mine about once int the last year.
