THE AEFW TREATMENT
Last fall i had some troubles with a few of my acros, stn on my blue/purple tort rtn on a piece from fiji, rtn on my ice and fire frag.
All this led me to watch them more closely and then i realised that some of my high end frags started to show signs of aefw.
I knew i still had them in the tank but never decided to really eradicate them... yet.
Some fallen acros... for this reason or another. Not sure on the cause of their demise.

So, i decided that the time was there to do the proper treatment:
1- remove all acros from the rocks and place them on plugs.
2- dip in melafix each week for 6 weeks.
Let's say the first treatment was quite a job, but by the third one i was able to do it under one hour.
For the time of the treatment i installed all of my acros on a sheet of plexiglass and some frags holder.
I did not lose a single frag during the process and after it i never saw worms or sings of them on random checks.
I think this time it was the good one.
