I have a Hydra 52 HD over my Red Sea Reefer 170. For about a month now, I've been running my lights with full-blast peaks using the recent BRS TV settings for mimicking the Radion settings. Since then, a few corals have increased in color, but one has actually taken a turn. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but nothing else has changed.

The coral is a PC Rainbow SPS, I think it's a tabling one. It came dark deep red, then lightened up with the new lights. It started to show skeleton on a couple corallites, even though it had great growth for a long time. Then I noticed it grew back. The polyp extension was really poor. Then one day it was sliming off completely, and I thought for sure it was a goner, but then it was fine again. Recently I saw STN at the base, but again, it grew back and now only a couple corallites are exposed.

There's a lot of other SPS all near by that are doing just fine, including a Pink Lemonade that has colored up quite a bit.

I'd love to get your thoughts on if this is just way too much light.
