I agree , definitely check the local collection laws . I know you would need a permit
in Key Largo but I don't think that there are any left . When I first came down 30 years
ago there were more collectors but it has thinned out dramatically . The hand nets with
mesh bottoms work the best , when we do see Lionish on the reefs that is the technique
that we use .
