I've bought, sold, and traded locally, on ebay, via the various forums, on Facebook, and at swaps. Some sell per polyp, others don't. Personally, I don't have time to keep up with the polyp thing as they grow, so I sell per frag. But most people are pretty fair about it if you're trading.
