Are you looking to stay with power compacts (assuming not HQI) or move to LED?
LED has many options from buying a retrofit hit, to buying a hood that’s been retrofitted to creating your own DIY setup. I looked at dismantling a black box LED and installing under the splash guard in a Biocube 29g before I found a deal on an HQI (running said black box now).
