I was going to suggest plugging into a resistive heater or shoplight then kicking the generator until it comes on....;-)

That should set the new brushes.

Basement sump w/ LED Grow Light,Gravity fed Reeflo200 skimmer w/ ORCA Recirc, DIY calc reactor & kalk stirrer. Inline plumbed 75 Gal frag/settling tank.
