I’ve had a lot of issues with my tank which I cannot seem to find any reasons for.

I’m now thinking of removing my rock and sand to replace with some new..
I have a handful of corals mainly lps..and I’m trying to do It without shocking them too much.

Would you strip rock by rock a few days apart I was wondering what effect this would have upon them.
Then for the sand, I’ve got some livesand which was from previous reefers tank breakdown..would you add that then strip the old stuff out..

Again what sort of chemistry effect will this have?
