Freshwater dip question
Might be a stupid question, but when you guys dip your clams for pinched mantle do your clams open up in the freshwater? I'm on my second dip a week apart and my clams shut pretty tight when I'm dipping. I use a turkey baster to try to force some water around but I'm just curious if it's all for nothing if they stay closed up in the freshwater.
