on second thought, this is my plan, at least for phase 1. Space in my sump/drain section is pretty tight, so keeping just a basic drain outlet in the sump is preferred. The tee fittings at the top of each line will be attached, and will give me a way to secure/support the pumping to my stand (which I don't currently have). I'm planning to fill teh horizontal sections with poly filter or similar to act as a muffler, hopefully absorbing some of the sound.

Current Tank Info: 38g (mostly LPS) with a 20g sump/fuge and all the other standard goodies
