I had several email exchanges with the guy selling these and you need quite a few to light a tank. I have a 24 gallon nano and he recommended 2-4' strips of daylight and 1 of the actinic to light my tank. I haven't ordered yet but was thinking about doing so this weekend. I'm planning on mounting in my burnt out hood with silicone sealant. Hope it works.
From what I've read the main problem is sealing the connections against the seawater.
