Others know much more than me but they are quite mobile and will move to where they feel it’s best. Mine went and hung upside down under rock and I had the same concern (he was bleached when I got him). He has recovered and is flourishing so I wouldn’t be worried. I do feed him some shrimp once a week since my clowns haven’t hosted yet. Good luck.
