Well I would love to have an update but the tank is late. I should have been running last weekend. Everything else is in, heater, pumps, the nano cleaner, everything. I'm so close to getting this thing running. Grrr...
A different LFS had some cultured base rock for $2.50 a pound, so I grabbed another 12lbs. I might not need it all, but better to have extra I think.
The rock has been curing for about ten days now, and it's had a good scrub. The reek coming off that bucket was horrific. I've since added an air pump to the mix and the smell if much better now. I'll be off and running as soon as the tank shows up.
