I blended mine with dry base rock and Gulf Liverock because their stuff sprouts macro like nobody's business, and the net result was pretty incredible. Yea gGulfviews rocks have some of the coolest macros. I have some right now in a vat that grew sargassum almost a foot long with some of the coolest red macro algae. All the Halimeda that is starting to come out too.. Lots of cool sponges. Mine had a few corals, nothing fancy though with corals.
Nothing wrong with Tampa bay either especially if you want less die off and better chance at sponges making it.
