Where do you get your frag disks?

I'm going to be fragging a lot of zoo's and wanted to buy some frag disks, or tiles. Where can I find these? Thanks,

Fcamdog

travertine or tumbled marble tile + tile saw = hundreds of frag tiles for next to nothing

+1, I use them all the time, you can get them at home depot or lowes (any place that sells tile) You can get them in 1"by 1" squares or 2"by 2" even bigger if you need, and cut them down to size

They work great and are cheaper than buying "frag plugs" from local fish stores

yeah those are the ones, i pull them off the backing and let them soak in some white vineager and water for a while and them the glue rubs off pretty easy, then i will boil them in water for like 10 minutes just to be safe, i have hundreds of them in my tank and it has never harmed anything, so yes they are reef safe.

Hope this is ok to post.
I use the ones from modreef.com for zoa's. For everything else, I make them or use rubble.

I prefer plugs or man made aragocrete rubble to LR rubble as it tends to have less algae issues & "corralines up" faster than LR. IMO

I agree with The Big Tuna. algae issues are definatly something to consider when selling frags. I prefer to introduce as few things into a propagation tank that could contaminate it with algae or other pests. I know those little chunks of rock rubble look harmless but they can still bring all sorts of nuiscance organisms into a tank. Selling corals with algae or other pests on them is a good way to get a bad rep quickly

I agree the absence of nuisance organisms imo are what separate propagators from the rest usually propagators tend to care for what comes in and goes out alot more carefully then the average lfs store or where they usually get their stuff from most of the time that is
