Adding Blue Damsel-Yellow Tailed or others??

Hey guys I currently have a tank thats been running for about 2 months now its a 30 gallon (36''X12'') I have a good amount of Live Rock and all. The clowns I have are 1 Medium/Large Size Ocellaris and 1 baby black/white ocellaris.

My question: Can I add 1 or 2 Blue Damsels (Yellow Tailed) to the tank? If so, what size, etc.
Also, What other fishes if not this would you guys recommend I add? (at what size please!)

You could add them, but I can put money on it you will regret it later on. They are agressive and terratorial and anything you wish to add from there on may be bullied. They are also a nightmare trying to catch them when you realize they need to come out

Personally, I would look at a royal grammar or maybe a bottom dweller like a yellow watchman, JMO.

No problem

I had a grammar in my old tank and while it was quite shy when first introduced, it soon became more active. It really adds a nice splash of color to your tank. It was always out and about and swimming along with my other fishes, great eater too. I have heard of some peoples being agressive towards more docile fish, but mine never bothered anything.

How about a pair of Watchman gobies. They'll play around at the bottom and the clowns will have the top half of the tank. Grammas are one of my favorites tho.

Will 2 Grammas mix with my baby black/white clown and mid sized Ocellaris?

Unless they are a mated pair of grammas, no. They are agressive towards their own species.

^ I think a dwarf angel or butterfly would get too big for the 30 gallon. It's not enough room to house a group of cardinals either IMO...

I would suggest a bottom dweller like a yellow watchman goby. As those clowns become sexually mature i'm sure they will rule a part of the tank with an iron fist (or fin!?) A fish that stays at the bottom or perches around the rock should stay out of the way of your clowns terratory for the most part. Also take a look at a midas blenny, tons of character and many hobbiest's all time favourite fish.

All of course is JMO

A Midas Blenny has a lot of personality and is always in the open.
