candy can question

I just bought a candy cane frag from my LFS. He says put it in the back of my 12g nano cube with little water flow. Saltwaterfish.com says strong flow and liveaquaria.com says moderate flow.

How much flow does a candy cane require? Will oyster feast be adequate to feed it?

Candycane seems to be tolerant of mixed flows. I had 1 turn into 2. The colony topple ddown an busted up.I put one under low flow and other under a moderately high flow. They both thrive and are just a little smaller then a volleyball. I have never target feed them they just get leftovers from feeding fish in my 75 gallon mixed reef tank.

+1. They are fine in just about any waterflow, but I prefer moderate to high.

I put it under the return pump out of direct flow and it seems to be happy.
