I had the same po4 zero and nitrates took 30 days after that to go to zero. Your almost there just keepgoing slow until you get to zero. Then it's half the vodka dose until it's starts to creep back up.

Yeah I hear that. It's not and hasn't been in my budget either.

Luckily I have some friends who own them, and was able to borrow a week or two. If you're a member of a local reef club, you can always ask around there. If it's an option it would be nice to even just get a spot check every once in a while.

Small update: My skimmer pump went down again today. I'm not sure what the problem is, and why it's been acting up lately. Luckily a friend of mine has offered to lend me his extra pump while I try to figure out what is going on with mine.

Vodka dosing and feeding was skipped today as a result, but I still dosed MB7 and Amino Acids. I'll probably do a 5-10g water change tomorrow as well just to be on the safe side. Hopefully, I' won't be down without a skimmer much longer than 24-48hrs.

Not to hijack this great thread but what to do. I ran out of mb7 on the tenth day of the two week dosing scedule. Do I start all over dosing or start where I left off on the tenth day?

Were you ramping "up" Microbacter 7 dosage? A lot of people start with a larger dosage initially, then move down to a maintenance dose. With that being said, I would just start back up where you left off.
