IM Gourmet Grazer magnets rusted

I have three of the gourmet grazers where the seal on the magnet has come apart and the magnets have rusted. Luckily I have a large system and saw no adverse effects. Any ideas on how I can replace and seal the magnets so I can continue to use these? I thought about replacing the magnets and then covering the new ones with aquarium safe silicone. Any reason this will not work?

Although I think the design is great in terms of how it holds nori sheets, at $24 a piece, I am disappointed an aquarium equipment co. would use poor seals over their magnets knowing that rust can harm our aquariums.

I contacted customer service. Replaced them right away, no questions asked.

Contacted customer service and they got back to me quickly. Said they will try to do something to help me out so my criticism may have been premature.
