Hard to tell from a picture but I'm very interested in the group consencus on this. $25 looks like a huge bargain to me for that many polyps. Can't tell what the white marks are, though. A good inspection and a good dip for hitch hikers should do the trick.

Acan echinata I think.

I agree that it looks like a good sized colony for 25 bucks.

It's rather dull color wise, could be why it's only $25. Something like that in my neck of the woods would be like $100 or more.

Under the right lighting it might change colors. I bought a lobo colony once for super cheap because it was dull and wasn't selling. Low and behold a couple months under T5's it colored up to be a nice rainbow color.

I would buy it.

Yah, 25 is OK, not much distinction between polyps and not overly colourful, like some of the Acan Lords, aka, micro muss....but it's cheap.
In contrast, a Ultra colour Lords of the same size runs 125-250....

Agreed that 25 is good price but that is an Acan echinata so more of a flatter coral that spreads across rocks vs a typical acan that has seperate heads and skeleton to grow up on.

And yes different lighting can quickly change colors of acans (and many other corals...)

Agreed, that's mire like why the price, To me, good colour is what I see under normal white light. If it's expensive, it's colourful or big or both....scolies are well known for vibrant colour and run in the 150-500 range...

Agreed. $25 is a really good price for colony that size. I would definitely give it a go!

Yeah $25 for that many heads is a great deal. Would be $80-120 range in my area. Color is ok nothing special but as said lighting will change that. Its healthy as well it appears but looks like it could extend just a bit more. I would buy it at $25.
