Looks great! That's some serious anemones, too. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Beautiful tank. What size and what is your setup? Any problems with the GSP encroching on that monti cap?

Thanks for the compliments.

The tank is roughly 110 gal. Dimensions are 36" wide, 24" tall, and front to back is 30".
It has two 250watt 12k reeflux bulbs.
Euroreef skimmer, Geo Ca reactor, and phosphate reactor.
The sump has a fuge portion with some macro algea, DSB and live rock.

No problems with the GSP and Monti cap. They just grow right up next to each other. When they meet they just stop advancing.

Yes they are clones of all one RBTA that I got from a local reefer, Charles "650-IS350".
Actually I started with 1 and now have 10. I would like to get rid of some but they are hard to remove without taking the rock out and that's way too big of a chore for me.

How long does it take for them to release after you start rubbing their foot?

Are those the original anemones from when you set up? Or did you buy them that big? Just curious how long it took to get that big.

I started with one anemone about 5" size. Now I have 11 or 12 and they range in size from 5 to 12" in dia.

Hey Perry,
Talk about a delayed response...
I had the stand and canopy painted white when I ordered it. The paint job on the canopy is nice and thick. Then on the stand the paint is very thin and chipping off at the bottom and on the edges.
Anyone have any advice on how to fix the paint chipping? Or at least prevent it from advancing.

Awesome Tank. Boy, I wish I could take the anemone off your hands. I plan to get a small one for the office tank. It it out grows the tank it will be my excuse to the spousal unit to upgrade.

How long has this tank been setup?

Use marine spar varnish on it. You can get either glossy or matte. After each coat sand it with steel wool until smooth. I put about 5 coats on anything near saltwater. I have a black walnut & white oak hood that was exposed to saltwater for 5 years and still looks brand new.

Wow! I bet that is an active tank... does it sway with the current? I bet the whole thing is in motion!
