Congratulations, very well deserved.

Probably one of the most natural looking aquariums out there, just like looking into a reef flat.

Congrats to an EX neighbor from the Omaha Marine Society! I'm glad to see you have had great success with your Volcano. I wish I could have gotten a chance to talk to you about my Volcano before I pulled the plug on the hobby. Your tank is a true inspiration and wish you continued good fortune.

All of the automation is incredible. I have a Reefkeeper but it does not do half the things your controller does. Maybe time for an upgrade. BEAUTIFUL tank. Amazing what can be accompished in just a few years. Congratulations on a well deserved honor.

I purchased from captive Oceans, not sure if they are still in business or not.

+1 Agreed!!! Congrats again JJ and I'm happy to have such a fine specimen representing our fine state. The only sad part about your TOTM is I feel (that while looking AMAZING in the photos) that your system is even more breathtaking in person(I know everyone always says it, but it really is the case). Maybe a video or virtual tour...
Regardless of the delay or anything else JJ, major Kudos and thanks again for your openness to a geek like me, letting me tour this MONSTER, and answering all my countless questions about it! PS sorry for the drool on all the glass, I'll bring a bib and towel next time!

Josh

PS. Finished that puzzle yet?

Well deserved JJ! The growth is incredible!

I was hoping to see an animation of growth over the months. If you would be interested I could probably put one together.

Any chance you have some top down shots so we could see the layout?

The planning behind the system is nearly as impressive as the reef itself! Incredible!

Question: what is that circular black device with flow going through it? Is that some sort of solenoid?

amazing!

JJ, questions... What time/s you use to feed your stony corals and how often? Do you turn off the skimmer when feeding?
