Photo editing, my good sir. While dorking around with the white balance on the camera may also help, most of the time I rely on a few minutes in photoshop.

Yeah, it takes less than 5 minutes to color correct photos in a software program. I would not rely heavily on camera white balance for tank photographs.

Jadams.... You said you took the smaller of the two. Is that b/c it was more "black" than the other one (ie the one I got?).

Hey jefathome - Honestly, I took this one just because it was sitting on the sand bed and the one you got was already on the LR. I wasnt sure if yours was totally attached or not, so I figured it would be best to go for the one that i know isnt attached to anything.
I actually liked the pattern of yours more, and stood staring at the tank for about 20 minutes deciding which one to buy. As far as mine being more black, it didnt really look like it in the store to me. They looked about the same...

Anywhere from $40 to $400 depending on luck... You know how things are in this hobby.

speaking of attaching, there is a tube worm growing on the side of mine. Pretty big one!! As soon as mine attaches I'm going to pull it out and get medevil on that worm. He puts out a sticky web every night and I think the calm doesn't like it.

I love those black and white clams. I bought one a few months back that was really small and being stung by several aptasia. I tried to nurse him back to health, but no luck. It had a little bit of green at the tips of his mantle with a small amount of blue in the center. He was awesome.
