Nice work!! Very professional and clean looking! So those new $1.00 caps fit right on the 4" schedule 40 PVC, Socket x Socket? Nice.. I wish I could find them locally. I will have to resort to Ms. Stewart.

reactor base

Here is a picture of the base un assembled, it consists of two 4â€Âsch 40 pvc couplings, two 4†thin wall drainage pipe caps, and two 4†thin wall drainage strainers, all the parts came from home depot, if you look closely I screwed the 4†strainers to the cutting board upside down , to this strainer I glued the 4†thin wall cap and then I glued the 4†sch 40 coupling to the thin wall cap, I will post more when I get a chance>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>GEBC

cutting

I cut the pipe with a fine hack saw, dont try to cut straight through the pipe you will crack it, rotate and cut a little at the time.

BTW WalMart carries a black version of the cutting board for those that want everything to match. Here in Charlotte, NC they were <$4. Which MAG pump is that? Can't wait for a detailed How To with plenty of pics.

pump

The pump is a mag#2, I threaded it directly into the reactor, you have to remove the impeller housing and screw it in then put the pump back together>>>>GEBC
