Oh i forgot to mention the best part. Automatic water changes!!
I have a bulkhead drain in the fluctuating area of my sump. That is directed to the drain in the basement.

Then i have my 44 gallon Brute saltwater container, filled with RO/DI water and IO salt. Mixed to correct SG, pH, and slightly cooler temp. I drilled a BH in to the trash can, connected to a Little Giant "q" pump.

All i do is plug it in, and the new saltwater is directed to the main display via PVC pipes.

The increase in cooler water forced the old warmer water down to the drain in the sump.

Got the idea from Calfo's book.

Cool

Lookin good!
Why did you get rid of your first skimmer...looks like ASM?
And on last thing is it possible to put a black background on the back of the tank to hide the wires and overflow?
Chris

That's about identical to my tank. Besides the extra 2 VHO bulbs, they are pretty similar. What are you running the MR-2 with?

Chris
