You could drill some 1/8" holes in the overflow wall and feed zip ties in from the back with a dab of silicone. Use the protruding zip ties to help build the rock wall.

Obviously lots of time has passed. Hope the tank is treating you well.
All should know that a fishtank is considered water furniture. (as is a waterbed) and against alot of leases. A Sump or Refug is in the eyes of apartment managers, building owners..... as another possible point of failure and is likely an item that would push a laid back owner/manager to not allow a fish tank. FYI. |
