Chiller Question

A guy wants to sell me a "barely used" Oceanic 1/6 hp chiller for $200. I have a BioCube 29 gallon HQI which heats up in the summer. I know the chiller is rated up to 90 gallons or so. I also believe that Oceanic was bought by Coralife, and I think these chillers are discontinued.

1) Is this too much chiller for my tank?
2) Is this a good price?
3) Any comment on quality/longevity of the Oceanic brand chillers?
4) Any additional comments/concerns/questions?

Thanks

Yes, it can cool a much larger tank. But it will work fine on 30g. The compressor will probably come on and off very quickly for a small temperature drop but this isn't a problem.

I think that unit retailed online for ~$500 so that price seems reasonable to me especially if it has hardly been used. Keep in mind you need a pump with the proper flow rate, or T it off another pump in such a way that the flow rate range that the manufacturer specifies is achieved.

Thanks. It looked clean, and pumped nice and cold so I bought it. Woman threw a pump and some plumbing too.
