6040 questions
Most of these questions are really 7090 controller questions.
What is the actual external control voltage range? Is it 0-10v or is the range something else. I have read conflicting information online. How does the main power dial interact with external control? Is it a clamp on the requested output or is it a scale. For instance, if I request 75% via external control and the main power is set to 50% do I get 50% output or do I get approximately 38% output? Final question, I have a fairly new 6040 that just does not want to start up smoothly it just bumps the impeller for anywhere from a few seconds to 30 seconds until it finally starts. Is this a external control issue or something else? |

1) 0-6.5V
2) Technically, if set to external control all settings on the 7090 should be overridden, but it is possible to have some overlap and for that reason when in external mode it is best to set main power to 100%. 3) Try it in pulse mode with no controller connected, if it works, it is something going on with your controller or controller connection.
