Too much noise
I have a 115 aquavim cylinder tank. It has an overflow about 34 inches high. Underneath the tank the drain pipe goes into a chamber in the sump. The drain pipe comes down from the bottom of the tank, then an elbow, then a straight pipe, and then another elbow with a straight pipe into the sump. Problem is is that there's so much pressure coming through the pipe, that all the water that goes into the sump is white filled with bubbles and the noise because of the force is high.it could be because of the 2 elbows, but I can't make it straight since it won't go into the chamber it needs. Any suggestions?

A 45 degree elbow or better yet a flexible hose might work better. Right now the water is falling twice and only one of them is into more water. Also, air will get trapped in the bend making it harder to eliminate the noise. I would really recommend a flexible smooth hose.

So its a single drain setup?
Durso? Basically you are flowing more through it than it can handle.. Reduce your return pump flow and it will improve.. DC pump? If so turn it down.. Not adjustable pump? If so put a valve on the output side of the pump to throttle it back to reduce flow.. A 115 gallon tank (I assumed thats what it is) only needs roughly 300GPH of return pump flow to meet with commonly recommended guidelines..
