Plumbing 40g peninsula input please
So I plumbed my 40g breeder. I have one return and one overflow. I came up with the idea since I’m running a high powered pump ( ecotech vectra M1) why don’t I put a T fitting on the return with a valve to get some decent movement for my chaeto ?Will this work?

If you are asking about "Tee-ing" off your return pipe to divert some of the water through a fuge in the sump then sure that will work..
People do that quite often to allow you to get flow or increase flow to any portion of their sump.. Most often with a drain/skimmer -> Return <-- Fuge sump layout vs Drain/Skimmer-->Fuge -->Return setup like you have.
