Borbonius Anthias Issue

Hi,

I have a 90 Gallon Reef (established for around 3 years). Recently have completed a triton test and all water parameters are pretty much spot on. All fish and corals doing well.

I have had my Borbonius Anthias now for over a year and he has always had a great personality and fed like pig. He ate anything in front of him, including bits of nori the tangs pull off. He has grown from maybe 1 inch to 3 and is a very healthy looking fish.

Around 3 days ago all was fine. 2 days ago he stopped eating, and hides in between the rocks. This is weird behaviour and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? What may be causing it? and what I can do to snap him out of it?

He looks fine, no spots, scrapes, visible parasites.... nothing!

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Best regards

James

Have you added any fish recently, changed lighting or changed pumps? It sounds as though he is stressed by something. I have a borb as well and no issues with him whatsoever.
