The "medicine-free" quarantine
Next year I'd like to set up a tidepool tank. I'm eyeing royal grammas and azure damsels, and perhaps a cherub angel as well as a few inverts, alga, and a few soft corals. What would your quarantine protocol be like for each group if you only had access to the following medications?

I don't use any of them. I observe for disease, and haven't had a sick fish since 2006. Clean source helps.

Sk8r,
I have only had about a 10% success rate on my fish orders. Most were loss to parasites. Where do you purchase your aquatic life that you have had such good luck? Thanks, Dean |

I only used Meds if I see an issue. Usually I use copper for tangs having said that.

I qt in a 50 gallon reef with no meds, observe for 90 days. 3-4 cleaner shrimp and 3 or 4 neon gobies if I can find them are typically added to qt with new fish.
